Kindness is contagious — and it starts young.
100+ Youth Who Care Northumberland empowers kids and teens across our community to make a real difference through simple, creative acts of giving. Modelled after our 100+ Women Who Care movement, this youth-led initiative helps children discover the joy of generosity while supporting causes that matter close to home.
Children and youth can get involved in three different ways – check out the details below!
100 Acts of Kindness Campaign (November 13-December 13)
![]()
Every child and teen is invited to join the movement. From small gestures to community projects, participants can take part in ways that fit their interests — baking for charity, organizing a supply drive, writing thank-you notes, or coming up with their own acts of kindness.
Coinciding with the launch of our ongoing 100 Youth Who Care Northumberland, we are starting the 100 Acts of Kindness Challenge. Starting on World Kindness Day (November 13), 100 Acts of Kindness Challenge is a month-long community effort where youth complete and share their good deeds. Together, we aim to reach 100 acts across Northumberland County by December 13.

It can also be something bigger like organizing a mini fundraiser—a bake sale, jewelry sale, or food drive. Every kind gesture matters, no matter the size or whether money is involved.
