Press release from the main grant recipitent:

Promised Land Animal Sanctuary (PLAS) is delighted to announce a generous donation of $5,425.00 from 100+ Women Northumberland. This significant contribution will support our Equine Therapy Program, specifically offsetting the cost of Open Heart Sessions for individuals in our community who may not be able to afford this invaluable therapy. At PLAS, our Equine Therapy Program provides transformative experiences for participants through interactions with horses.

Our Open Heart Sessions are designed to offer emotional healing, personal growth, and therapeutic benefits to those in need. The benevolence of 100+ Women Northumberland enables us to extend these services to more individuals, ensuring financial constraints do not prevent access to this vital therapy.

“We are deeply grateful to 100+ Women Northumberland for their support,” said Kat Krylov, executive director at Promised Land Animal Sanctuary. “This donation is a testament to their commitment to making a positive impact in our community. With their help, we can continue to provide life-changing experiences through our Equine Therapy Program to those who need it most.”

100+ Women Northumberland is a collective of philanthropic women dedicated to supporting local non-profit organizations. Their donation to PLAS highlights their dedication to fostering well-being and positive change in Northumberland.
